Shoppers may soon be paying more for online purchases. The Supreme Court ruled on Thursday that states can force online retailers to collect sales tax from shoppers even if they are out of state. The decision is a win for retailers who have brick-and-mortar spaces nationwide.

AT&T is entering the streaming space. Days after the acquisition of Time Warner, the company is launching a new service called WatchTV. The service will offer 30 basic channels, not including sports or local news. WatchTV will be free for new AT&T wireless plan subscribers, and cost $15 a month as a standalone product. The service is meant to attract cord-cutters who have dropped traditional cable television.
